Thank you all for your extreme support and love this past year. Please use this blog as a memorial to our sweet Adam. I have set this up for his loved ones to share memories, thoughts, feelings, songs ect.
Hopefully this will bring healing to all who view it, but even moreso keep his memory ALIVE.
You all know how much I miss him, and how much I hurt. He is irreplacable, and words will never quite fit how I feel, but there have been some great poems and songs that I found.
Please post in any way you choose, this has no formalities, just sharing, and just us loving Adam.
Thanks.
Veronica

I remember one time when Adam and I were little kids.. Veronica was babysitting us. so we told her that we were running away, so that we could get her in trouble. after 5 minutes of standing in the back yard, getting snowed on we decided that it was too cold.. and went back in the house.
ReplyDeleteYou two were STINKERS ! I loved you though! I still do
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, this is awesome :)
ReplyDeleteHey cowboy.. remember last Halloween... I'll never forget it. You looked handsome as always in your leather jacket and tight t shirt. You had on your class ring and it glimmered as we played pool til 4:00 am at Sandra's brothers house. On the way home you kept telling me how much you enjoyed being with me over and over.. Little did I realize you were saying good bye.
ReplyDeleteThis Halloween sucks without you. I remember taking you trick or treating as a little boy. You were so cute and shy and would just stand there looking cute and all of the women would fall in love with you. Miss You Like Crazy Little Brother. HAPPY HALLOWEEN !! Oh, did you like the pumpkins that Tonio and I took to you? The one of the peace dove was from me, and the US Army one with the eagle was from Tonio.

ReplyDeleteSweet Adam... I miss you SO much.. We needed you to stay.. I needed you to stay. I don't think you had any idea the impact your death would have.
ReplyDeleteSo I remember the time when we were on our way to a family reunion in Colorado. I was 24 so you were 13. We stopped at the Super 8 and spent the night in Fruita. Mom,Dad,Jose, Destiny, you and I all went swimming at the indoor pool. I was pregnant with LuisAntonio at the time. There were some European's who came into swim with us. They were wearing speedos. You were not too impressed by this site (they were men) so you started to 'accidently' splash them on purpose. Then you decided to do a bomb into the water right by them and yell "HI YA !" really loud. Hee hee. Mom was getting irritated, and I was loving it all. I told you "do it again!" so you did it over and over until they finally left. LOL. Mom was like "Adam, they probably thought you were retarded!" and you told me "They are retarded for wearing speedos !"
ReplyDelete- Luis Antonio LOVES this story.
I think I'll post on here why I call you cowboy. For those of you who remember Adam in 3rd and 4th grade, he wore wranglers and gray cowboy boots every single day. Do you remember running races and playing sports/ recess in those boots ? LOL, you wore them so much that they were slick on the bottom, but that didn't stop you. You got a cowboy hat, and Mom had pics taken of you in the hat. That is where you got your nickname from. I called you that up to the end, you would smile and respond. Oh how I love and miss you :)
ReplyDeleteSo, I remember helping Gen watch you when you were a baby. You weren't even 2 yet. We found some checkered polyesther bell bottom pants and some cowboy boots that had the toe that pointed up like an elf. We put these on you and then combed your hair in a squggy hair do and put you in the stroller and took you for a walk. We laughed so hard, which made you laugh.. oh the ever so innocent baby. Everyone STILL thought you were beautiful because you were. You were the most beautiful baby. I will post a baby pic on here soon and everyone can see for themselves.
